  • Have a go at USB patches Mark Jansen (talk) 14:57, 9 June 2018 (UTC)
    • I second that and would help with that Colin Finck (talk) 09:44, 27 June 2018 (UTC)
  • Intel e1000 network driver Mark Jansen (talk) 14:57, 9 June 2018 (UTC)
  • Starting work on the migration to a Git-managed static website using static site generators like Jekyll or Hugo Colin Finck (talk) 09:44, 27 June 2018 (UTC)
  • GSoC code review & merge Sanchaez (talk) 10:46, 27 June 2018 (UTC)
  • Writing detailed plans for GSoC ideas, in particular the developer web interface, to get a better overview what the ideas are about and to make it easier for a possible mentor Colin Finck (talk) 19:45, 28 June 2018 (UTC)
  • Fixing build problems when building ReactOS with latest GCC 8.1.0 from mingw-w64.org and upgrade RosBE Colin Finck (talk) 20:08, 3 July 2018 (UTC)
  • x64 hacking / testing Harteex (talk) 21:10, 5 July 2018 (UTC)
  • Trying out Matrix to supersede IRC for communication (as discussed internally), setting up own servers if beneficial - Colin Finck (talk) 18:19, 29 July 2018 (UTC)
  • Program a basic audio driver that can be used with every device. Will probably be very limited. Please message below here if you are going to volunteer. Mrmajik45 (talk) 16:43, 31 July 2018 (UTC)
  • Show some PXE-boot magic - multiple PC booting ReactOS LiveCD at the same time. we could record this on video Jedi-to-be (talk) 22:20, 3 August 2018 (UTC)

Closed ideas

  • add GitHub auth to RosLogin Extravert34 (talk) 12:14, 25 July 2018 (UTC)
    • The idea behind RosLogin is a simple and central user directory. Adding authentication through external providers would hardly provide benefits, but circumvent our own registration/banning mechanisms and complicate the code (probably double it). I'm more interested in keeping RosLogin maintainable and would hardly accept patches for external authentication providers - Colin Finck (talk) 18:19, 29 July 2018 (UTC)

Hardware

If you bring any specific hardware or need some for your work, which you cannot bring yourself, just add it to this list. We can centrally organize this then. Finish your comment with ~~~~ to add your signature.

  • Will bring one ReactOS testing laptop (Compaq NX6325) Harteex (talk) 15:52, 16 June 2018 (UTC)
  • If anyone has any PCMCIA serial port card, and/or serial to usb for the receiving computer, please bring it with you Harteex (talk) 19:46, 28 June 2018 (UTC)
    • I have ordered one and will bring that one, let's hope it works Mark Jansen (talk) 19:20, 2 August 2018 (UTC)
  • Will bring one or two Atom-based netbooks Jedi-to-be (talk) 22:23, 3 August 2018 (UTC)
