Techwiki:Performance Data Registry
The performance data registry provides access to raw performance data from various parts of the OS, drivers, and even applications. This data is very obtuse and parsing it requires a good deal of brute force searching. In addition, the performance data itself is not really labeled and a separate hive lists the names and descriptions of the entries. Collected here are the various system performance data counters exported in Windows 2003, the corresponding index values for names and help text, and some pointers on how to access and interpret the information.
