For consistency, perhaps this page should be reformatted so that it looks more like http://www.reactos.org/wiki/index.php/Supported_Hardware/Network_cards does? I've had a quick go at reformatting it here, so as not to disturb the main page without permission. GoBusto 11:02, 30 April 2009 (UTC)


Please update this page with the status of each video card that is tested.

Tested Video Cards

Video Card/Driver Status Comments
VBE driver (vbemp.sys) Works Supports only graphic cards with VESA BIOS version v2.0 and higher. Supports all available resolutions (640x480 and higher) and all available color resolutions (8, 16, 24, 32 bits).
VGA driver (vgamp.sys) Works Supports a standard resolution of 640x480x4 (4 bit = 16 colors).
VMware emulated videocard Works Works with driver from the VMware tools iso.
Cirrus Logic 54xx Works QEMU Video Driver (Cirrus Logic 54xx)
NVidia GeForce 2 GTS, GeForce 4, GeForce FX 5200 Works Geforce and TNT2 Video Drivers
S3 Virge Failed Not tested.
S3 Trio 64V+ Failed Not tested.

CompatDB

We need to get those content into compatDB, as it better fits there, if there are any problems, like compatDB isn't able to represent those contents, it would be nice to have some ideas how it could. --DangerGround 18:04, 11 November 2009 (UTC)
