General Information
- Used Build Environment: ReactOS Build Environment "2.2.1 - GCC 8.4.0 - Unix" was used for official release isos (host-tools compiled with GCC13.2.0 on the carrier-releaser2024)
- Supported toolchains:
- GCC 4.7.2 dbg+rls used in Windows RosBE 2.1.6, and Unix RosBE 2.1.2 no longer compile (with no available RosBE)
- GCC 8.4.0 dbg+rls (primary and recommended toolchain) used in combination with Windows RosBE 2.2.2, and Unix RosBE 2.2.1.
- MSVC 2008, 2010, 2012, 2013 dbg+rls no longer compile (with no available RosBE)
- MSVC 2015 dbg+rls (minimum supported MSVC version now) did compile, used in combination with Windows RosBE 2.2.2 at the moment of branching 2024-09-10, but wasn't tested frequently anymore after that.
- MSVC 2017 dbg+rls did compile, used in combination with Windows RosBE 2.2.2 at the moment of branching 2024-09-10, but wasn't tested frequently anymore after that.
- MSVC 2019 (19.29.30147.0) dbg+rls did compile, used in combination with Windows RosBE 2.2.2 at the moment of branching 2024-09-10, but wasn't tested frequently anymore after that.
- We now support building some x64 configurations also and can boot to desktop. However, since they do have no WOW64 yet, this isn't really interesting for end-users yet.
