Hello, I have downloaded version 0.4.15 on my PC running openSUSE Linux. I managed to install and run ReactOS as a QEMU/KVM virtual machine. Some programs I coded in 16 bit Pascal Delphi a long time ago can run on ReactOS. A pleasant surprise to be able to use them here. Unfortunately I didn't manage to install and run Delphi 3.
Also tried to install some old PC games. Some success with Starcraft 1 and Fallout 2. Got sound but only 16 colors; fully playable but a bit dull. The main ReactOS has the full glory of millions of colors. Any suggestions of how to get more colors for those games?

Re: Successfull install on Linux
To improve color depth for games in ReactOS on QEMU:
Install Graphics Drivers: Check if ReactOS supports VESA or compatible drivers to enhance color support.
Adjust QEMU Display Settings: Experiment with different resolutions and color depths in QEMU settings.
ReactOS Compatibility Modes: Try running the games in compatibility mode for Windows 98 or XP.
These steps can help maximize the color output for older games in your setup.

Re: Successfull install on Linux
Thanks for the suggestions. No doubt usesful but I never managed to solve the problem despite playing with the settings. I'm afraid I never found the right combination. That aside the ReactOs runs starcraft 1 well.
Re: Successfull install on Linux
Progress report: the March release of 0.415 seems to have helped somewhat. I managed to install and compile on Both Delphi 3 and Lazarus/Pascal 3.6. For some reason the latest Lazarus 4.0 doesn't seem to work well on ReactOS. Freeware minigames compiled on ReactOS may soon be available. The StarCraft 1? Same as before. Runs well with sound (AC97) but still only the dull 16 colors.
