IE7 works in SVN_0.3
Just to let you know im writing this using IE7, on the SVN
so if any one is board, all they need is the autication bypass.
But IE7 does work under the SVN, some Wifi wouldn' kill any one but ill have to live with Lan for the moment
When can we expect a non SVN release by the way?

Maybe an extension to shell32(?) that checks versus some binary names and checksums *g*

360 is the closest they have come so far.
How did you get that installed with the Validation?
How did you get that installed with the Validation? I thought IE7 required some things in WinXP SP2, does ReactOS have them already stubbed? I own a copy of XP Pro, but out of wonder, would this also make IE7 work with 2000 or is there something that XP Pro SP2 has that 2000 would need and ReactOS at least has it stubbed out?
It took me three hours to do that.
dont go out assuming that you can easly install ie on the the SVN
Actualy i installed IE6 and then copy and pasted IE7 from my laptop.
Its a lame way of doing it, but it does work.
Also dont forget to add the reg key for IE
It should work on any windows like system

and that one got hacked... i got a movie from usenet showing a dude with a silly mask inserting a burned xbox 360 game into an xbox 360, then the cam followed the cable to the tv and showed the screen, and it ran... roflmaoMike_PSP wrote:bastetfurry wrote:ROLFLMAO ^_^ThePhysicist wrote:Wow, seems like ROS starts to get compatible with malware. extract the installer and then create a file in the extracted folder called iexplore.exe.local
and then run it next to ie6

No, you're right, reactos status is already amazing. Let's just hope developers get again their momentum and re-start developing at the same speed as before the audit.etko wrote:This is amazing! Keep the the good work. Seems like ReactOS is approaching the usable status. I think that IE is quite extensive example of WIN32 application, uses lot of WIN32 tech like COM etc, and that it runs means that most commmon apps are able to run too. Or am I wrong?
When this will happen, reactos will continue to surprise us again and always more often. 8)
