Installation on Pinebook notebook

Post by N2TE » Sat Dec 03, 2016 6:19 pm

Would anyone know if the ReactOS system will be compatible for installation the Pinebook Open Source Notebook notebook once that product is released and available?

Almost certainly not. First of all it is an ARM processor.

The compatibility target of ReactOS is Microsoft Server 2003. Therefore, ReactOS may not run well on computers designed for operating systems other than Microsoft Windows XP and Microsoft Server 2003. The best hardware to try ReactOS on is hardware that originally shipped with Microsoft Windows XP (Home or Professional editions) or Microsoft Server 2003. Avoid hardware that uses a USB port for its keyboard or mouse, the ReactOS USB driver is not fully implemented and has bugs. Laptop computers often use USB to communicate with their built-in keyboard and mouse pad.

maybe would it not bad if they handled an reactos arm compiled version on there own Forum,
also it is maby not bad, if they are try to start a clean build up a Reactos as an "ARM Ported"
Reactos specially for ARM Hardware.. if they are build ARM Hardware, so why should they are not Support
the Reactos Project and Leading [strike]an[/strike] THE ARM Port Project of Reactos, on and by the Open Source Hardware
where they are building and therewith have we are togetzher the specially and unique possible to
have a Reactos on ARM Project who supports and ships maybe the /an kernel-addon for
supporting Win32/64 apps on ARM Hardware as emulating directly from/in the Kernel of reactos ?!?!!

this is a unique possibility who we have therewith ..

think about ! If the Pine64 Project want handle that .. also and want be a partner like wine
but on ARM .. and his own hardware.. this can be awesome !

And we can advertising with to be collaborating with a Open Hardware ARM Project by
side our i586 & x86_64 Project. and can attached this to our list with collaborators ;)

best regards
Blacky

That's all very obvious, so why don't you go ahead and do it? :)

Please don't answer.
