I'm trying to install ROS 0.4RC2 on an old Toshiba Satellite A305, but once I boot into the USB (I burned it via Rufus), it says its loading the drivers (NTOSKRNL.EXE, etc.) and then goes black. I left it for awhile and it still was like that. I burned the USB with multiple tools, like UNetBootIn, Rawrite32, LiveUSB creator, and even just had 7-zip extract directly to the USB, and it results the same (Except UNetBootIn, that broke everything). This also happens on the latest trunk build.
I wouldn't be surprised if the hardware is unsupported; it is old, but I would like an OS on there, and Windows gives me too many BSoD's to do anything.
ReactOS 0.4RC2 installer shows black screen.

The real problem is that you boot from USB, which is almost not correctly supported. If you could manage to boot in debug mode, you might have seen that you got a INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE bsod (like in CORE-10517 ).

Of course; now I got to go fishing for an DVD-RW to put it on. Thanks anyways!
