Hi, I have redesigned my site (http://www.myfreeprograms.com). Since it's hard for myself to judge if the site seems nice for others, I was woundering if you guys could take a look and give me a feedback?
Don't by shy to mention flaws! Thats what I'm looking for
Thanks in advance!

Doesn't look too bad ^_-
The navigation is obvious and simple, the design itself won't win any rewards for looking absolutely stunning, but it's clean and doesn't make one's eyes bleed.
Only things I'd suggest:
- set a single type of font. The standard font my browser (FF on Windows) uses doesn't look that great with the font you used for the logo.
- make certain people know where a link leads to. For example, the ReactOS link leads to the ROS site, but the counter below it suggests that you can directly download the application from that link.

Thanks for the adivcees, I've updated the site with just one single font. It's looking much better now! I've now added a "Download here" link. So it's easier to know where you are going.. I'm still trying to find a better solution.. But I'll play around with a few ideas and I have to see whitch works the best.Elledan wrote:Doesn't look too bad ^_-

And for the logo.. Hmm, I got to download Firefox to check out that problem (I'm a Opera user). I thought the logo was nice,.. But I can be wrong

Oh, but I didn't mean that the logo's font looked bad or anything. What I meant was that since you hadn't defined a font for the text, the browser's default font was used, which isn't that pretty, but your logo's font is ^_-trondjac wrote: And for the logo.. No idea. I seldom use CSS aside from minor style elements, such as colours. Why doesn't Firefox, read the font css settings?? Does anyone know? It works with IE and Opera, but not firefox. I'm justing FF 1.5 Beta 2
Why not use a <basefont> tag?

It's now fixed, the site now looks the same, regardless of which browser you use
