I have tried both of the same version (R57042 and others a few before) on real hardware, the Livecd boots to desktop without any issue, but the bootcd is unable to progress past the 2nd stage setup.
At the welcome wizard, where the system awaits input from the user to continue, there is no response from mouse or keyboard.
Why should one version fail and the other succeed.

Why does Bootcd fail and Livecd succeed

Re: Why does Bootcd fail and Livecd succeed
Try to choose non-ACPI mode in first stage install.

Did what you suggested and selected Standard Uniprocessor and now installs to desktop.wojo664 wrote:Try to choose non-ACPI mode in first stage install.
This should be made common knowledge as I believe it will enable more users to install on real hardware.
Unable to get rapps to download anything though, anbody have any ideas as to why?
Thank you wojo664 very much for your advice.
