Mouse Issues on 3 PCs and 1 Notebook!

Post by QBit » Thu Apr 05, 2012 3:16 am

I can't acces or use any Mouse or Touchpad with Reactos.. I can boot it.. but have no Mouse Control!

USB Mouse Support would be great!

Good luck! ;-)

There is USB mouse Support. If you would just note down the version u used, we even would be able to help you...

ReactOS is still in alpha stage, meaning it is not feature-complete and is recommended only for evaluation and testing purposes.

I tested it running native on real Hardware.. only PS/2 Mouse works... but not USB. and it was Version 0.3.14

By the way how can you install Hardware.. doesn't work here!

Don't use 0.3.14.
Theres no USB Support inside.
Try these: http://www.reactos.org/getbuilds/

Depends on the hardware. I personally copy all driver files where they belong to and reboot twice.
*.dll goes to C:\ReactOS\system32
*.sys goes to C:\ReactOS\system32\drivers
*.exe goes to C:\ReactOS\system32
*.inf goes to C:\ReactOS\inf

Btw, be careful with all your "!"s. This could be interpreted as very harsh.
