Not sure where to put this. Moderators, feel free to move as you see fit.
This is just a list of "good" themes people can install, not suggestions for a default theme.
Please add good themes yourself!
One theme I'd recommend is
Royale - a freeware Windows XP theme BY MICROSOFT that is like a glossier version of Luna, and has its own desktop background a bit like Bliss.

I believe the problem with most of these themes that people find online are that they are made in a way that just edits the Microsoft ones, so essentially, they still contain Microsoft "stuff".

Yeah. Well, I like Royale because it's actually a free theme, by Microsoft, so it's legal.

Not necessarily legal to include in the ReactOS distribution.

Themes still needs some work on themes from my experience. So far it's been able to recolor the classic UI without much overhaul, except the widgets on the Appearance app itself (and that's just temporary).
Stay frosty, Squeaks.

Check the license of the theme. It's no redistributable.
ReactOS is still in
alpha stage, meaning it is not feature-complete and is
recommended only for evaluation and testing purposes.

Oh I think you misunderstand the intent of this thread. It's not to suggest a default theme, just a collection of "good" themes people can install themselves.

This.
Also, you could streamline the download into the installation a bit like the mshtml.dll file

Ok, send me a list of themes working fine on ros and I will add em.
ReactOS is still in
alpha stage, meaning it is not feature-complete and is
recommended only for evaluation and testing purposes.

Nice, but please check if it works in ReactOS too. There are nice themes out there, but since Themes is a new feature and since ReactOS explorer is somekind hackish, not all the Themes work correctly in Ros.
Thanks!

ReactOS isn't a hack, it's just not really a clone of Windows Explorer
