Well, the topic wasn't changed by him... He just tries to justify his, by the way legitime, standpoint. You may link to the work of others if you mention that it's not your content and your distanciate from it. That's what many projects do. Check lame as example. So, now back to topic....
ReactOS is still in alpha stage, meaning it is not feature-complete and is recommended only for evaluation and testing purposes.

As you know, links are *not* direct downloads (in other words they don't host binaries - again, they can't).Geri_lgfx wrote:well, the link is on they webpage aniways, so the webpage has the binaries, no matter where they store it. and please stay at topic.
I'm on topic 'cause freedom is the most important thing, IMHO.
BTW you're free to keep your product closed, of course, but you can't ask any kind of support from open source projects...
Good luck.

Please,if a Moderator asks politely to get into the Topic,please get into the topic. If anyone wants to create a parallel discussion,he can open a new thread in the corresponding section The objective is to avoid disrailing the thread to a different oneforart wrote: BTW you're free to keep your product closed, of course, but you can't ask any kind of support from open source projects...

It is when I read posts like this that I wish that this forum had button show appreciation/karma/points/whatever to the member that posted it (and avoid prolonging off-topic even more). But since there is none I just say:vicmarcal wrote: Please,if a Moderator asks politely to get into the Topic,please get into the topic. Thank you, vicmarcal.

TitaniumGL for Reactos 2011, 11
-Z test is now disabled by default as the specification says
-Binded texture number is 0 again by default
-Fixed the handling of the multitexture combiners
-Tesselator algorythm is optimised (+30% speed-up)
-Texture 0 can now properly handle textures (at last i hope so)
-glGet on GL_ACTIVE_TEXTURE or GL_MAX_3D_TEXTURE_SIZE_EXT did disasterous things
-glFrustum now can be used on texture matrix
-Interlaved arrays now force texturing to enabled
-From now, some ogl 1.2 and 1.3 EXT functions can be requested without the EXT or ARB post-tag

Re: 3D drivers (OpenGL) for Reactos
wonder how much it cost to buy the right to the source code to this driver
and assuming one was to buy the source code rights and donated the code to reactos under gpl license would it be integrated into reactos

@Geri_lgfx
There is no need to "port" your software.
Just develop it against Windows, and it should run flawlessly in ReactOS
If this isnt the case, thats a ReactOS bug which has to be fixed.
And there is where we ask for your collaboration - finding out where your driver fails, and trying to fix ReactOS

Re: 3D drivers (OpenGL) for Reactos
It fails with a missing Direct 3D. Thus he uses a Software Interpreter.

@forart
No one really forces you to test it. Its your own choice.
My only concern is if this thread belongs here or perhaps more in Offtopic.

Re: 3D drivers (OpenGL) for Reactos

I think Binary / "Free for home use" is not an alternative supply for ReactOS. You need a free software code.
