I was wondering about the media centre side of things.
Reactos could go into some sort of partership agreement with media portal or sesamtv media centre.
The developers of reactos wouldn't have to worry design and development .
The two could make sure its compatable and install as part of the o/s it just like windows media centre

Re: media centre
Well... Audio Support is progressing and the same dev, Johannes Anderwald works on DVB Support. So this things working in the future, ReactOS might be a interesting base for these projects, yes.
ReactOS is still in alpha stage, meaning it is not feature-complete and is recommended only for evaluation and testing purposes.

Re: media centre
Well, XBMC does most of the stuff that Windows Media Center can do. There is a Windows version which works pretty well. ReactOS should eventually run the Windows version, just like any other piece of Windows software. Even Windows Media Center is nothing more than an application, though ReactOS can't legally run it. Just like how Canonical (the guys who make Ubuntu Linux) doesn't need to have any type of partnership with the XBMC team to have it run on Ubuntu Linux, we shouldn't have to make any special arrangements for XBMC to run on ReactOS.
If XBMC runs in Windows, it should eventually run on ReactOS. And when it does, I'm pretty sure the devs will probably put it in the Downloads Manager.

To keep it "real" we'd have to someday clone MCE/Green Button, though there is always room for improvement!
