The word "wine" can't be trademarked because it's a generic word.

But what Wine thinks about it? It can be legal, but not ethical to use that name without their consent.

Portwein afaik is german version of name, and english is Port wine. And reading of word is the same in both cases. And i don't think it would be nice idea to call arwinss with german word.(because Wine also uses english version)

Yes, but it's Windows (R), not Window. If someone would want to register "Wines" I guess they could succeed.
