no network vmware-player on ubuntu linux

I can't seem to get the network working. It is bridged which I know i the correct setting because it works with my other vmware images, but still it won't work and I am unable to download or install anything.

I got the same issue on vmware player on windows

I tried bridge and NAT and nothing works. it worked on qemu but not vmware. later this month I will have VMware Workstation so I'll see if it works with workstation. is it probable that network driver doesn't work good with vmware player?

So you have ReactOS installed inside Vmware and you cant connect to Internet via Bridge.
Did i understand you correctly?
