Wrongly displayed Chinese in the language combo selection box

For the Chinese Simpilifed webpage, basically everything is normal except the select language combobox. It shows ?? as the following image:

Similar stuff happen in Firefox as well. (So it is not my browser issue)

nope, still having ?? for Chinese (simplified). Strangely, the Chinese pages has the characters in the lang combo box completely okay.

Now my Mac shows correctly, Windows not tested yet. (Last time never test on Mac)

Problem seemed to be solved, only I would like to check why is Chinese Traditional called "文言".

No idea. what do these glyphs mean?

literally, it means "text". I suppose it's to differentiate against the other glyphs, which mean "Chinese". not sure what's the widely accepted term for traditional Chinese.

usually we call traditional chinese as 繁體中文 or chinese (traditional) as 中文 (繁體)
and simplified chinese as 简体中文 or chinese (simplified) as 中文 (简体)

文言 refers to Literary Chinese or Classical Chinese
