Remember, you need to have alternative menus for javascript menus just in case people don't have Javascript turned on!
I want to notice that it's possible to make a good menu even without the use of javascript.
Here is a good example I encountered (the menu below the logo):

I looked at the CSS, and it looks hard to implement. Can you explain to me in simple words and step by step instructions on how to reproduce those menus?
I don't know how it works, but I'm sure you can find info by googling for "css menu" or something.
Here is another good example for a non-js menu:

here's mine: draft
I've tried to keep it as simple as possible, keep the structure almost the same and let it looky a bit "spacy" like the logo. Please apologize that I haven't used the same font as on the original logo (I just couldn't find it).

Change the body-background to white or light grey and add some softer shadows, that would look better I think.

Since I wasn't too happy with the result, after I made the changes, here's a new one

EDIT: Added some clouds for a bit more interesting background, so here's version 2.1

UPDATE: Here's a suggestion on how to combine my design with the forums.

UPDATE: Here's another suggestion, this time as front-landingpage-thing

I like the green. Though I may be biased.
Though I think blue is really the theme for reactos and should be changed.
The theme looks awesome. ShamanPL you have my vote. If I had one.

I also got bored and quickly applied a color filter to the page to see what it would look like. It still looks fantastic.
I did actually upload it and was going to show the link and state that it is not an entry ect. ect.
Then I thought my actions wouldn't be appropriate.

Also I would prefer not to have fixed width pages. As the current theme fits on my mobile quite well.(I have 3 hours on a train a day to surf on my phone)

Please note the above design is not a contest submission. I have doubts yet.
