That's YOUR opinion. ;) I like Luna.
It all depends on whether or not you prefer shiney over matte.

I personally prefer matte.

My favorite theme ever is Luna (Windows XP's default theme). I prefer it to Win98, Vista, Gnome, KDE or OS X.

3. Hopefully in the end the WindowBlinds will work and we will have a DWM compatible compositing engine. This means ReactOS needs two official themes, one with no effects requiring compositing, and one that takes advantage of compositing. Hopefully, we can run Aero by 1.0. Thats not gonna be the big GUI by then, if Windows evolves the way it has so far.
Personally I would prefer to do it the same way as ubuntu handles Compiz Fusion. To have it as an alternative that can be switched on or off with the ease of pressing an button (ok, in my case I write an line in the terminal to turn it on or off, but thats about as easy). If you feel that an GUI that usilises 3d rendering, like Aero or Compiz Fusion, does not work very well with your computer you can just turn all that off, and then it will work about like xp or ubuntu (without Compiz Fusion turned on) does.

However, this is NOT an priority. Before moving on to this ReactOS should focus an great deal on stability and the core stuff, to make it an working OS.

Oh god, the zune theme. There's no puke smiley...

As much as I hate it, the devs are right in taking the 'classic theme only' approach.
