Remember, you need to have alternative menus for javascript menus just in case people don't have Javascript turned on!
I want to notice that it's possible to make a good menu even without the use of javascript.
Here is a good example I encountered (the menu below the logo):

I would like to say that I like the actual site very much. I'm afraid changin it, I will miss it.

It is very clean, lite, easy to navigate and efficient.

That's my opinion

Thanks!

I looked at the CSS, and it looks hard to implement. Can you explain to me in simple words and step by step instructions on how to reproduce those menus?

I've tried to make our logo a little bit more modern for the site:

Please tell me your ideas how to improve it.

Will you be providing all the background images and layout images if the designers choose your layout? I like yours a lot.

This design is good. Unfortunately it looks like a blog. There is some hard-to-define "not-seriousness" about it to my taste :)

too much bloated imo

The main page has to be light-text..a lot of text scares the User, also a lot of text unfocus the user. The text in the main page has to be used just for focus the user to the things we want. Of course: IMO

Because the current logo is the one that's registered as part of the trademark. Changing it would be a time consuming, and likely expensive, proposition.

Oh, but that's not true. Only the name "ReactOS" is registered. The logo is not registered.

And even if it were, there are certain borders in which you can modify a logo.

Current logo is awful. I don't advocate changing its form, but changing the looks is much needed.

Actually, the logo IS registered as part of the trademark. It was part of the submission by Fireball and the Foundation when they registered the ReactOS trademark with the Russian government.

Actually, yesterday I've tried to get the document that was used to register the logo, precisely to know the borders in which the logo can be altered.
According to Fireball, there was no such document and no logo was ever registered.
