Well... do u really think we will jump?? heheh..be sure 0.3.8 and 0.3.9 (at least) will be released before 0.4.0 ;)
I know we arent using decimal system so..that´s why 0.3.10..and so could be the other option :D

Well, USB support... it depends on some other subsystems (WDM, PnP) whether ROS can support the full NT5-style USB stack, at the moment only the heavily limited NT4-style stack can be used. Some coordination is required here, so I can't make a guess as to when full USB support will be in ROS.

Audio... has to be written from scratch, basically. At the current rate we'd be lucky to see it appear in an 0.4.x release. If only I wasn't working on USB/Firewire, new installer and some other bits and pieces already :)

Okay, newsletter 48 came out but it didn't really go into why ReactOS 0.3.7 hasn't been branched
yet. Can anyone offer relevant information? I noticed the suggestion that ReactOS 0.3.7 is ready,
but obviously there is something being ironed out still.

Trunk has been frozen in preparation for release of 0.3.7. At this point there are some network issues being ironed out.

It also looks like some x64 stuff was being worked on too.

Very near. Z98 has to finish up the changelogs for those devs that havent prepared those themselves.

Now we are making 0.3.7 Release build. We have been testing for 3 weeks the 0.3.7 pre-releases.

A lot of work has been done ;)..as result: Thunderbird,TuxPaints and other apps are now working ;)
But the biggest changes are *inside*..you wont see them...but you will feel them ;)

Well..you can see the results of the latest prerelease here:

http://www.reactos.org/wiki/index.php/Tests_for_0.3.7

As u can see, most of them are Green(which means works). And almost all the apps that get installed, then works(which means a high compatibility with old apps).

Now we are adding Visual Basic runtime libraries(which still dont work) so more apps could be running in the future...

We are walking from 1980 to 1985 :D (j/k)

Apparently 0.3.7. got tagged this morning, the release cannot be far anymore. For anyone unfamiliar with software version control, it means that the code is done!

trying 0.3.7 and new bugs occurs, like bsod showing APC_INDEX_MISMATCH while using firefox. And so it's quite useless for browsing internet. 0.3.6 didn't have such issue :(
