DriveWire is a program to connect the Color Computer 3 to a Windows PC.
It works with 98/2000/XP.
It is distributed by http://www.cloud9tech.net/
How long till ReactOS will be able to support it? I suppose the networking
stack needs to get ironed out first.
I've asked about implementing the same functionality under freedos on the
freedos list, but I mostly got criticism.
As far as I know, there are no free tools to connect a PC to a COCO via the
serial port to emulate a hard drive.
If ReactOS could support DriveWire, I wouldn't have to come up with a legal
copy of Windows.

Re: DriveWire
That's a complex question, noone here could answer it definitivelynute wrote:How long till ReactOS will be able to support it? I suppose the networking

Well why would the FreeDOS team be interested in implementing this really specific functionality into the actual base OS? If you want to write a driver go for it.nute wrote:"I've asked about implementing the same functionality under freedos on the
