ReactOS PowerPC version please!

When can we expect a PPC version and apps compiled for the PowerPC?

you may compile it yourself.

we want to create an os, which is able to run all applikations designed for windows. this software is always compiled für x86-prozessors, so there is no need in the first time.

PPC version

I was thinking about this the other day... at the very least, it's an interesting idea. I don't own a Mac, but I used to. I wonder how much of the ReactOS code is CPU dependent, and how much trouble porting it would be. I'm sure it's not going to be a target for a while, but still might be something to think about.

ReactOS use HAL for this purposes. Only HAL is CPU dependent. I don't think we will have a lot of troubles with porting HAL.

Unfortunately, it's not as simple as that. HAL is supposed to take care of differences in the environment (like the differences between a normal PC and the Xbox), but the kernel itself is still processor dependend. For example, the kernel does the memory management (page tables and stuff), which I think is different between PPC and x86.
Arty has started on a PPC port. Just don't expect it to be ready tomorrow...
