Its because such mode reuses settings/files from an already installed OS.

Yes install within windows is not recommended.
But I want something like Winnt.exe the one to
startup from a dos partition.
not within windows.
the biggest reason is to this.
You don´t have to burn an CD every time you are going to install ReactOS.
Only put it on a second partition and make that bootable then format the primary partition and install.


But then a second reason for me is that one of my computer don´t have an CD drive.
or it has an external CD drive.
but that will not work properly.
So I can´t install React on that Computer.

The bootsector code could give hints.
I am not good in NASM programming,but they need to use the DOS file handle API.
Did someone here use loadlin?
