The ability to assign what USB ports to what user is. Careful screen management is also a requirement. Note Linux pulls of two users on a duel head video card. Ie each output is a different user. This requires a few management thing set up in the graphical subsystem.

There was a package for windows that use to connect ps2 ports to printer ports and do it. Yes machines don't even need USB support to run 2 users. printer ports provide more than enough power to run ps2 devices.

Idea is doable its the work required.

:| I do have a serious answer to the original question as well if anyone is interested.
Whatever the hardware-based solution chosen to hook up multiple KVM's directly to a single PC, it would be a configuration/management/cable nightmare, with limited scalability. It would never be an industry-requested feature at all.
There is however an interesting product already on the market doing something very similar to what is proposed, but using Virtualization-method for presenting separate sessions): http://www.ncomputing.com/
The only other cost-effective way to go is with thin clients. With Linux-based thin clients starting at roughly US$100, that's already the cost of a usable USB VGA adapter (not including the cost of adding USB Root devices to the host PC).
The ROS developers already expressed the goal of implementing a session-to-network bridge, so ReactOS could be outfitted with Terminal Server-like functionality when the time comes (but without having to go through the License Clearing House first!!! :D )

Its major advantage SdC is OpenGL works for the Linux form. Windows form could have Direct X and Opengl working.

I have used 2 way to play some games without having another computer there.

Its only really scalable to 10 users at once. Reason that is 5 dual head video cards. Its a little hard to find a motherboard that take that many. 4 users is more doable with cheaper boards.

Linux thin clients to truly run into trouble running 3d applications effectively. You end up having to put gpu's in the server to get performance then you have network lag on top. Cabling nightmare is not that bad. 10 workstations can be worse.

Makes perfect sense you are after what userful desktop does to linux. Note it takes it a few steps deeper a long 10 users at once on a single machine. Note userful just provides a simple way to setup X11 to do it. X11 naturally has the means to do it. There have be other programs for windows that have done like the same thing. So I know its possible.

Now doing something like http://wearables.unisa.edu.au/mpx/?q=mpx would be tricky. Currently desktops on linux are having to be updated to support it effectively. 1 screen many users all using the applications on screen at once.
seems to me not much diference to what microsoft is currently doing in windows7 and surface what alows them to have multitouch, but they do not suport multiple keyboard foci i think. but tis is just a small extra step. http://www.osnews.com/story/19801/Multi ... _in_Motion

SpoonmAn Mpx predate MS Surface. Please note multi touch tech is about 30 years old. MS Surface is a poor copy not a functional as it could be. Lot of work still needed to bring current day X11 WM's and *nix Security up to speed with MPX. Since MPX can work with multi touch systems that can tell who's finger is on the screen and assign access to user accordingly. MPX is just the last in a long line of X11 multitouch tech.

Not much point Blackcrack USB Graphics cards main reason for doing it is performance. USB has kind of a bandwidth limit. If you are going to use USB Graphics cards you would most likey better off using thin clients.
