remaster live CD:?:

Post by bblochl2 »

Thanks for the live CD, that makes a first try of ReactOS very easy! :D

I see an application for making ready to run CD`s with for instance an preinstalled interpreter or compiler for education. Even unskilled Windoof users may start to program this way immediatly without all that for beginners always annoying things like download, reading installation help, failureprone installation and setting up pathes etc.

My question: Is there any possibility to remaster the live CD to include such installed particular prgrams to that remastered CD? Is that documented anywhere?

Best regards
Bernhard

Are these "additional things" preinstalled? For example abiword - Is it runnable without installation?

Windows seems to come with burning software now, and it usualy has a tool to burn images. if you're going to do it keep a version that doesn't have it to keep the download small.

I dont know any OSS Buring app for Windows and at this time exist more important things!

Cdrecord is a quite good tool ... I think it was renamed to CDRTools.
