Why?
We have already our FreeLoader. There is no need to be compatible here.
You can use Grub to create a multiboot setup and (or similar) to boot ReactOS (with FreeLoader see wiki) and any other operating system.
yep follow that tute and find more info in the links beloow ....
and speaking of ntldr compatibility ... freeldr is already compatible with it .... just find the article where ever it is ...
Shouldn't you just be able to dump the MBR of an installed ReactOS system and point NTLDR to it (C:\ros.mbr="ReactOS")? I haven't tested but in theory it works.
yeah but how do I 'dump' the mbr to a file if i aint got it installed on a disk? how do I dump the mbr of an ISO? by virtually mounting it? (no linux here... had some shit with linux last time...)
If you install ReactOS on a disk which also has Windows, the installer should detect this and install the bootsector to a file "bootsect.ros" instead of to the MBR. It will also add an entry to boot.ini. (All of this will only happen on a FAT32 partition of course).
