I finally got a Windows XP compatible PC recently and I wanted to install ReactOS on a spare hard drive I had lying around.
I popped in the ReactOS 4.10 disc into the CD drive, went through installation as normal until I got to the partitions part where nothing showed up. Just stuck on "Please Wait..."
I thought it was an issue with the disc so I switched to the main hard drive for the PC and tried to format the disc but it is write protected.

Re: ReactOS Wont Install
I would guess that it cannot read the hard drive or it is confused with the other hard drive. It should not be the CD, because it has loaded ReactOS into memory, unless the CD is corrupt at a vital point.
Suggestions:
Format the hard drive fat32 in Vista and try again.
If that does not work, then disconnect the Vista hard drive and try again.
Burn a fresh CD.
Please keep the Windows classic 9x/2000 look and feel.
