Hi!
OK, before I google much longer... maybe someone have me an easy solution...
I want to make out of the LiveCD a VirtualBox-Image that is bootable.
Reason: I want to install more software on the LiveCD in the VM and create later a CD out of it again.
So does anybody have me an (easy) solution to create a VM out of the LiveCD?
And does maybe anybody have also an (easy) solution to create a CD out of the VM again?
Greets, Tobias.

Re: LiveCD -> VM
To be exact: At the end I don't want to have a CD - I want have an ISO, that can be distributed.
And I want to prefer to use the FreeLoader, but - if it doesn't work - I can also life with a other bootloader...

Re: LiveCD -> VM
Is your goal to create a ReactOS virtual appliance (VA) for your favorite virtual machine (VM)?
If that is your goal then I am puzzled. Why did you choose to use a LiveCD instead of a Boot CD? With a Boot CD, maybe you could install ReactOS in your VM, create directories in the VM, then add files or install applications, then package your entire customized VM as an iso.
Is your goal is to use ReactOS to make a preinstallation environment (PE) for ReactOS and Microsoft Windows? If so, then a VA is probably not what you want.

Re: LiveCD -> VM
HI!
My goal is to create a ReactOS-Live-CD that includes more then the official builds include.
It should be a 'repair & maintenance Boot CD'.
Here is our project: https://github.com/UWBCD/UWBCD-ReactOS
I maybe found now a other solution:
- Create a bootable USB-Stick out of the LiveCD with Rufos (https://rufus.ie/);
- Boot to the stick and modify it;
- Pack it again with 'USB Image Tool' (https://www.alexpage.de/usb-image-tool/).
I will try this solution now...

OK, here is the final solution I took... ^^
Took me almost a day to figure it out, but now it works! ^^

Congratulations, Tobias_B._Besemer. You are close to achieving a minimum viable product. Your project may also be the catalyst that drives ReactOS to its own minimum viable product stage. Again, congratulations.
