Install .NET Mono by default

Post by -Tom- »

Could the Mono framework be installed by default because many programs use it and I don't see why it should not be installed by default. Maybe include it on the CD and show a window in the "windows" part of setup (not the dos text based part) with check boxes for things like this.

Windows 10 has it(MS CLR, not Mono) built-in.
-uses Ubuntu+GNOME 3 GNU/Linux
-likes Free (as in freedom) and Open Source Detergents
-favors open source of Windows 10 under GPL2

What could be nice is to ask the user, at the end of the 2nd stage install, whether to install .net mono / gecko / etc...

Anything the ReactOS installation process installs will add to the support burden of the ReactOS developers.

Gecko is already asking the user, Mono not so much.
