Re: EPIC WIN!
Nice Two obligatory questions - 1) which Skype version? Since many https://jira.reactos.org/browse/CORE-73 ... 22skype%22 are reported to not start. And 2) does anything after login work?

A video of a review running on Visual Boy Advance running in ReactOS. No sound, and the speed of the emulator is kind of messed up.

Re: EPIC WIN!
I was able to run DOS Mugen in ReactOS, although I needed to use DOSBox to do this. DOS Mugen requires a Real DOS Mode to run which ReactOS's Virtual DOS Machine doesn't seem to emulate (at least not to a point where you can play DOS Mugen). DOSBox can emulate a Real DOS Mode, so that is why it worked.

Edit: An Another Image of DOS Mugen.

Re: EPIC WIN!
Hi! What do you call "Real DOS Mode"? Do you mean the x86 real mode of the CPU? Because that, is the stuff that we emulate the best in NTVDM ^^ Also, since I understand your game doesn't seem to run well on ReactOS' NTVDM, can you please take a debug log of it running on NTVDM and put it on Jira? Thanks in advance!MugenFighter wrote:I was able to run DOS Mugen in ReactOS, although I needed to use DOSBox to do this. Re: EPIC WIN!
Sorry let me correct myself, what I meant to say is MS-DOS Mode. I was trying to quote the readme found within the game. Anyway this game doesn't seem to like any NTVDM, not even the ones from back in the day.hbelusca wrote:Hi! What do you call "Real DOS Mode"? Do you mean the x86 real mode of the CPU? Edit: It also requires this DOS thing "CWSDPMI.EXE" which Windows (and probably ReactOS) does not support.
Edit (Again): In case anyone is wondering cwsdpmi.exe is a 32 bit DOS extender, so I doubt DOS Mugen will be able to run on ReactOS without DOSBox. But don't give up hope Mugen fans WinMugen, Mugen 1.0, and Mugen 1.1 may be able to run on ReactOS in the future.

Re: EPIC WIN!
Would you like to give us a link to the Mugen you've tried, so that at least we could create the logs to put into the JIRA issue? I found a Mugen release (mug10414.zip to be precise), but I can't tell if it's the right thing. I have only the kung fu man available, no others.
I think what runs in DOSBox could also run under NTVDM, right?

That is the right version, and I downloaded extra characters. Read my edits to my post.Black_Fox wrote:Would you like to give us a link to the Mugen you've tried, so that at least we could create the logs to put into the JIRA issue? Edit: It could, but than ReactOS would have to distance itself from Windows, which at this point in development is not wise to do too much.

Re: EPIC WIN!
It already does, actually. We can run linux (via loadlin) and windows 3.11 (that works more or less), whereas Windows' ntvdm cannot. Also we can run the FASM assembler, which has some problems on DosBOX ^^MugenFighter wrote:[...]Black_Fox wrote:[...]I think what runs in DOSBox could also run under NTVDM, right?
