Wôôs Project?

Post by eersoy93 »

Hi! I have a question. When and why the Wôôs Project started?

Thanks for answers.

Site of Wôôs Project: http://woos.es/

EDIT: I changed my question.

You kow that Wôôs IS ReactOS, do you? Its a distribution.
ReactOS is still in alpha stage, meaning it is not feature-complete and is recommended only for evaluation and testing purposes.

If my post/reply offends or insults you, be sure that you know what sarcasm is...

I know that Wôôs is a ReactOS distribution, but what is the "Wôôs IS ReactOS" mean?

It's also an abandoned project with little to no relevance currently.

I dont get the warning:
Of the 7 pages we tested on the site over the past 90 days, 0 page(s) resulted in malicious software being downloaded and installed without user consent. The last time Google visited this site was on 2013-09-13.

Has this site hosted malware?
No, this site has not hosted malicious software over the past 90 days.
Why does it show that problem?

Because of the
Has this site acted as an intermediary resulting in further distribution of malware?
Over the past 90 days, woos.es appeared to function as an intermediary for the infection of 1 site(s) including blytheconstruct.com/.
That means that no malware was hosted directly at woos.es, but you could be infected indirectly. It may have been an ad or a hyperlink to an infected site or so.

That is common. Sometimes ad agents drop the ball and let malware slip in from third parties. That can happen on the most reputable of sites. I've been hit this way by malicious scripts through Yahoo!, but I admit it was dumb to weaken all the security settings in the browser. So I don't turn off the prompts anymore, since they are there for a reason. If you want to override them, then set things to assume no so rather than be nagged, they don't work. But yes, good sites may be flagged because some third party advertiser site is somehow dispensing malicious scripts, and perhaps as an odd fluke. So once the hacking/vulnerability/corruption/infection is repaired, or the advertiser is expelled from the program, or the webmaster chooses different advertising services, or whatever, then the sites that accidentally hosted that should be safe.
