Help Needed With SVN

A few months ago I was given an SVN branch from trunk of ReactOS to begin creation of Visual Studio projects. I was not ready to use the branch until yesterday. Unfortunately, I am horribly inept at SVN, and I seem to make a mess each time I try to sync my branch with trunk.

Certainly there some SVN experts reading this who could help me. You do not need write access to the ReactOS repository. You would simply need to sit with me for 10-15 minutes, in real-time, so show me how to get it right without making a mess.

UPDATE:

hbelusca and tfaber helped me fix the problem, and I also learned a little bit about SVN in the process.

All is good.
