QT apps wont be added as default apps in ROS. Sorry
ReactOS is still in alpha stage, meaning it is not feature-complete and is recommended only for evaluation and testing purposes.

The mechanics are promising, but the GUI still could be improved (aside from rewrite to Win32API). Or maybe it could be added as another entry into RAPPS

Hallo,
what about qemu?
Windows 8 Pro
Windows Server
have Hyper-V. QEMU is cross-plattform. QEMU is also an emulator which may be used for Andoid programming (ARM Emulation).
QEMU is written in C. I don't know about GUI.

That's a pretty good idea. I'm no dev, but I don't think it would be that hard to change either.Linuxgamer94 wrote:Why not have 4 instead of 2.gonzoMD wrote:http://sourceforge.net/projects/virtuawin/

Tetris

Open Source Tetris Implementation for Windows. Licensed under GPLv2. Implemented using C++/Win32.Unmaintained since May 18, 2008.
We can use it as codebase for ReactOS Tetris. You know that Tetris is the most played computer game over the history.

4 seems like a good amount, anything over might be an over kill. Plus ROS looks a little stage with only have two on its taskbar.milon wrote:That's a pretty good idea. Is it me, or are you trolling?why not one?
Just think of ReactOS as the XP beta, Whistler.

He's not trolling (I think). He just really doesn't like anything that's eye candy or non-essential. Dave3434, correct me if I'm wrong.The_French_Rat wrote:Is it me, or are you trolling?why not one?

On another note:
----REGARDING BROWSERS WITH WEBKIT OR QT----
There is a reason why they aren't allowed to be bundled with ReactOS. I just tried Safari(NOT OPEN SOURCE, MIND YOU) and the window appears, but the Address and Search bar didn't allow me to enter ANYTHING. Also, the Favourites bar only shows arrows, but no text. Finally, I had difficulty closing the window.
'nuff said.

Safari doesn't use Qt. Nor has Apple bothered updating Safari for Windows for quite some time now.
