Those are the disadvantages of being (if I remeber correctly) the biggest open source project just after the Linux Kernel and having an unprecedented range of features in it.
On the other hand Windows packages dependencies are not fine grained, so it installs a lot of things you don't really always need. Kdelibs in Linux fit in around 10MB.
It's some time that I don't try KDE on ReactOS, however I think that, following my own experience with the KDE Installer on ReactOS and Davy Bartoloni reports, the steps involved should be something like this.
Well, I've tryed to follow the how to, but when i try to run the installer on ROS it kills the virtualbox.

Good to know! Can I ask you if some applications start without crashing (working reliably is unlikely in Windows too, so I don't expect ReactOS to do any better)? Look at the screenshots in the previous page of this thread to know which ones are more likely to work...
If you have the time to write a list that would be awesome.
