I searched, but could not find answers to these questions.
Is ReactX a kind of wrapper that accepts DirectX calls and converts them to OpenGL?
Will ReactX be its own library or just the drivers for running DirectX programs? Meaning, can I code using ReactX libraries or would I need to use DirectX libraries?
Lastly, will there be a version of ReactX for ms windows or linux?
Hopefully my newbie questions aren't too newbie.
Thanks,
James

ReactX is 100% hardware acclations it using the drv own api in frist version, when it is ready. (we are not yet their only 50% done in kmode)
that mean it is not opengl base. it will working as ms dx same info comes in and same info goes out as ms dx.
use ms dx sdk for devloping for reactos dx or ms dx it does not mater
ReactOS DirectX aka ReactX will working like windows XP/2003 in the frist version later update to vista or win2k8 directx
after reactos aim be windows nt 2003 compatible so it mean our reactx are devloing on windows xp machine frist hand and all test are done in windows xp then I test it in reactos

ReactX is our own DirectX implementation, designed for ROS. It is not a wrapper, it is our own DirectX package. It will be complete and wont depends on any original windows components.
There will be a ReactX version for ROS. I cant say if its gonna work on Windows, as it requires some scale of integration with GDI/Win32 subsystem, that may be not 100% binary compatible with Windows. It is possible that a separate project for making ReactX work on Windows will be done.
As for linux, i dont suppose it is possible. There is already WINE, and ReactX requires NT kernel as well as GDI/win32 subsystems to work.
Right now, we are working on basic components ReactX, that are connected with other parts of OS. DDraw itself is quite complete, whereas D3d is forked from WINE for the time being.
