Any help-/advixe how notification area works?

Hi,

Did look at reactos notifyhook from explorer.old and also the traynotify files. But i dont get how i can compile only the notification area. There is managed shell from Cairo shell-/retrobar but this is even more far away from what o intend to do.

Reason:
Am currently trying at creating a sort of minimal c++ gtk3 based Desktop Environment for windows 11/10 and maybe reactos that is based on msys2 mingw:

What o want to have is a grk based desktop on a system that is not *nux/bsd.And the tray is missing. Got notifyhook compiled on g++ but thats it.

Even if it would be a small window that can be hidden-/enabled wirhout using gtk would be fine.
