### ReactOS as Visual Studio project?

Hello,
I just wanted to ask if there is somewhere a Visual Studio project file of ReactOS or if someone could make one for Visual Studio 2003 / 2005 ?

Type the command:

Code: Select all

``make msvc8``
Just like the command:

Code: Select all

``make bootcd``

It's already in place, that's the command you type to build the msvc project and solution files.

There is also "make msvc7" and "make msvc6" dependant on what version of VS you want to use. (Just like the commands "make bootcd" or "make livecd")

Not all of ROS builds with msvc at the moment though.

I guess the question is how to generate a .dsw file of the complete project. Please correct me if I am wrong. Also would like to know how to make a Dev C++ project file.

Please let me know.
Thanks,

On windows, you kan use the rbuild command to make a project-file for devc++. From the main directory, where you have build the tree you can run:
output-i386\tools\rbuild\rbuild devcpp

I tried the RBuild devcpp command, it asks for reactos.xml. It might have stopped on the first error so the command might need more such files. So which and where are the files located.
