Can I test kernel32 of ReactOS on Windows?

Post by xiaochuwang »

I am testing some function in kernel32, specifically CreateProcessW. Can I do it on Windows?
If not, what is the best way to transfer the newly compiled kernel32 to the VM?
Thank you very much!

If you use VMware Workstation, you can mount the HDD image with inbox functions. Otherwise: https://forums.virtualbox.org/viewtopic.php?t=4748 no clue if this works, I just make my own Setup Images if I want changes in my VM
ReactOS is still in alpha stage, meaning it is not feature-complete and is recommended only for evaluation and testing purposes.

Thank you for your info.

I tried ImDisk for VirtualBox. I really worked, I can copy files to the image.
In my case, the offset is 40448 bytes.
