Seeking Development Help for AI Integration on ReactOS

Post by harrycmary »

Hello ReactOS Community,

I’m currently working on a project where I’m trying to run ReactOS on a Smart AI Laptop that’s designed for AI-driven tasks. The main challenge I’m facing is ensuring proper hardware compatibility, particularly with AI accelerators and various built-in sensors. Since ReactOS is still evolving in terms of driver support, I need help figuring out how to get everything working smoothly.

One of the biggest hurdles is driver development. I need to either adapt existing drivers or create new ones to ensure full functionality. I’d appreciate any guidance on where to start with this, whether it’s documentation, existing driver examples, or best practices from experienced developers in the community. Additionally, performance optimization is another concern—how well does ReactOS handle workloads that require real-time processing, and are there tweaks that can help improve stability and efficiency?

If anyone has experience working with AI-related applications or specialized hardware on ReactOS, I’d love to hear your thoughts. Any advice or collaboration would be greatly appreciated!

Looking forward to your insights.

ReactOS 0.4.14 is still in alpha stage, meaning it is not feature-complete and is recommended only for evaluation and testing purposes.

ReactOS has no arm builds
