Hi! I am learning Git. I want to use Git for my translation work instead of SVN. Can I use Git for this? Is it possible?
Thanks for your answers and your dealing.

Clone our github repo, commit your changes, make a pull request, profit.
Re: Using Git instead of SVN for translating
The github repo is not automatically synced. You're not making it any easier for the developers to actually accept translations by using it instead of SVN.
Re: Using Git instead of SVN for translating
Can I make patches via git and open a issue on JIRA with these patches?
EDIT: I did.
EDIT: I did.
Re: Using Git instead of SVN for translating
I'm sure that by now you've seen Amine Khaldi's comment on your new JIRA issue CORE-12031. So everyone else also knows, the developers request that patches to ReactOS be usable by Subversion (SVN).eersoy93 wrote:Can I make patches via git and open a issue on JIRA with these patches?

HBelusca says "TortoiseSVN is capable of applying the (Git) patch as is, as long as you remove the reactos/ part of the paths inside the patch." (CORE-12031) HBelusca appears to have expedited the incorporation of your patch into ReactOS by making it compatible with SVN himself. From now on, Git users should make their patches SVN compatible before opening a JIRA issue and attaching proposed patches to it.
Congratulations, eersoy93, on making a patch to ReactOS and having it added to ReactOS as revision 72796.
I learn by watching others succeed.
Re: Using Git instead of SVN for translating
While it's true that I was able to successfully apply the Git patch using TortoiseSVN, the comment of Amine let me think that he still wants SVN patches. I'm not 100% sure (you may ask him on IRC).
