I downloaded the Microsoft .NET Framework for 32-bit computers to my Fedora drive from here:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/deta ... laylang=en
I then copied it into the ReactOS drive but it still needs to connect to the internet in order to finish installing. Can't anyone please tell me what driver or controller or whatever to install in order to be able to get online with ReactOS? That would probably make all the difference. At lease I would be able to see once and for all if it resolves my issue.

Re: Microsoft .NET Framework
You tell us which LAN card u use and we tell you which driver you might be able to use. Deal?
ReactOS is still in alpha stage, meaning it is not feature-complete and is recommended only for evaluation and testing purposes
Re: Microsoft .NET Framework
Download the full package from the link at the bottom of that page (197MB)purplewhiteman wrote:I downloaded the Microsoft .NET Framework for 32-bit computers to my Fedora drive from here:

Re: Microsoft .NET Framework
Hello rembrandt. I went back to that page and I downloaded dotnetfx35.exe and copied it into the ReactOS drive. Then I tried running the program that says it needs it to run and I still get:
.NET Required
This setup requires the .NET Framework v2.0. Please download and install the .NET Framework v2 and run this setup again. Do you want to download the framework now? YES, NO

Re: Microsoft .NET Framework
Another idea is to download the full version of .NET Framework. At the bottom of the page you give is this link to get the full redistributable version instead of the web-based bootstrapper install version:purplewhiteman wrote:I downloaded the Microsoft .NET Framework for 32-bit computers to my Fedora drive from here:

As for your driver, I would go to either the network manufacturer's site or your motherboard manufacturer's site.

Re: Microsoft .NET Framework
I have downloaded the .net framework about 2 weeks ago, from a website that said that it was redistrubutable, the file was called dotnetfx.exe, which is something like 22Mb (dotnetfx32.exe is only about 2Mb and requires you to download files).
The dotnetfx.exe does not run in revision 51472, at least not for me.
I found dotnetfx.exe through google, I think I may have downloaded it from MS.
Hope this may help.

The one I pointed to above is 197 MB. That is certainly redistributable.oldman wrote:I have downloaded the .net framework about 2 weeks ago, from a website that said that it was redistrubutable, the file was called dotnetfx.exe, which is something like 22Mb (dotnetfx32.exe is only about 2Mb and requires you to download files).
