ReactOs 0.3.12 on Virtuabox = CPU Stuck at 100% all the time

I've tried to install the new React release on my virtualbox 3.2.10 but the CPU stuck at 100% all the time. I've tried to isolate the problem but i was unlucky. I've also tried to download your packaged version of React for virtualbox but the problem persist.

This is my config:

Ubuntu 10.04 kernel 2.6.32-25 AMD64
VirtualBox 3.2.10 r66523

Ideas?

Uhmm..again a linux host giving problems..but on windows seems to be running perfectly.
Can you create a new reactos virtual machine?thanks

Ok, with a brand new installation on a .vdi "disk" all is working. Maybe it would be better to provide a .vdi image instead of .vdk one, considering that VDI seems to be more "crossplatform" that VDK .

I tried running the released VMDK in Virtualbox on Win 7 x64 and also got very, very poor performance. The mouse was like jumpy and slow to update. Unusable. I'd also recommend a .VDI as I have had more success with that format in the past. I'll try to do a clean install in VB from the release CD.

Can't wait for x64 support! ReactOS will be a great gaming platform at some point, I'm sure!

So I went and tried to install ReactOS in VB directly off the iso, and I'm having a different performance issue. Still unusable. However, I had full control of the mouse which was good! It seemed to work very well until I attempted to install guest additions.... :/ However, upon reboot of the VM, I was getting mouse integration! But no desktop, no start menu, no task bar...

Did you run desk.cpl applet (or pressed right mouse button on desktop and picked properties) anytime before the reboot that made your ros install stuck?
