Thanks vic for ur suggestion. In fact the friend of mine who recommended React OS also advised me to get the QEMU preinstalled version instead and I'm downloading it. But as I said I had tried virtualization and it didn't work. But anyway I find reactOS interesting and I'll stick with it.
BTW I thought I might help the devs by translating R Os to my language, Hindi (language with 5 billion native speakers), but the translation intro wiki page didn't go into my head coz i'm no geek.lol . Those CVS and SVN things lol. Anyway if ne1 can tell me exactly wot to do I may try translating it.

Re: Live Version - Blank Screen
[img]Hey I just found out something weird. Whenever I try to run the reactOs 0.3.6 liveCD on a system theat has a hdd formatted with FAT or NTFS it refuses to run, but otherwise it might run. Lastly I had not been able to boot in with Virtual box as I always attached a hdd with the virtual machine, but this time I tried to run it without attaching a hdd and it did boot in. Similarly the laptop of my dad on which the LiveCD ran properly had a hdd formatted with ext3 running RedHat. This is very weird. Can ne1 explain it?

Re: Live Version - Blank Screen
A bug has been solved recently which prevented ros to boot if there was no HD. Actually ReactOS supports only FAT (16/32), there are problems with hdds containing partitions formatted with NTFS or EXT2/3.shyboy16 wrote:[img]Hey I just found out something weird.
