Intel 845G, 865G, 915G (may be others)
PRB: Cannot set resolution higher than 800x600x8bits and 640x480x16bits.
DETAILS: In Video BIOS frame buffer size hardwired to 832 Kbytes, which is not enough even for 1024x768x16bit = 1024*768*2 = 1572864, 1572864 > 832K.
FIX: Update your BIOS with latest version or patch it.
Some BIOSes allow to change frame buffer size. For example, in Award BIOS Setup, set Advanced Chipset Features / On-Chip Frame Buffer Size
to 8MB or 1MB at least. 512KB is not enough — you will get a black screen on the 2nd stage.
Right now our VGA driver is really messed up. It needs to be rewritten.
VGA driver works now. It can be selected on the 1st stage.

You realize that this thread is 8 yrs old, do you? *CLOSED*
ReactOS is still in alpha stage, meaning it is not feature-complete and is recommended only for evaluation and testing purposes.

Actually if people are reporting that graphics cards are now actually working that's also useful information.
