Its the same error like on my newer notebook ECS G320 (elitegroup)
Can it be, that ReactOS doesn't like shared memory graphics chips?

Interested! I'm using a PCI Express slot for my graphics. Could that be causing me to have the same problem? Sure, your probably using on-board, but AGP is the only thing i know ReactOS works with, and I'd be interested to here if PCIe and certain on-board chips are being effected from the same problem (or for that matter, a missing piece of code.)

PCIe is the future, and when i bought it, it was the only slot they had DirectX 10 cards for (and interestingly, my brand new PC does not support AGP.)

Which reminds me, if a dev responds here and happens to know this, is reactos going to do an implementation of DirectX10 before DirectX9 or ignore DX10 altogether, etc.

I have PCIe too, but I think, that I can install ROS on this PC if I have an ATA disk.
When I boot from the ReactOS disk, I have a screen up to search the HDD. Than it shows me, that my PC has no ATA HDD (I have SATA)

Try ReactOS 0.3.3-RC2 and see if the problem is gone.
