how to create an application sits between a driver

hello every body,

I need to learn from somebody who has an experience especially from the people who are designing something new. I want to cooperate with you too.

I want to create a program that sits between the sound driver and the high level application, the function of this program is to remove or denoise some radio stations that are played for example with realplayer.

i would be glad if somebody can guide me where to start so that i can make something good.

i would actualy mod an driver to allow a programm to connect and capture/modify before trying to build some kind of hook. dont ask me how exactly, cant tell you more but before noone posts on your topic maybe i can help a bit...
