After booting the latest version of ReactOS (ReactOS-0.4.13-release-32-g7d0b55d-Live.iso) I chose the boot option "Screen". Tried this because the top choice, "ReactOS" started, then froze.
Could someone please tell me what to type at the kdb> prompt?
Interesting that I have NO problems running a recent version on another computer, but as a Guest in VMWare (Windows 10 host).
The notebook I would like to dedicate to ReactOS is a fairly new Lenovo (AMD processor) w/ a 1t ssd, formatted only for React.
Thanks.
What is the Screen boot option?

It is ReactOS, React is something else, something javascriptish.
"Fairly new" means fairly recent design? Best to be clear and state the model number. Do not expect ReactOS to work on recent hardware. Select something that can run XP and then you'll have a good run at it.
Read the ReactOS wiki FAQ and that will be a place to start.
