Exe file support broken on my install?

Post by DuckZGamer9122 »

I tried to install a few exe files but I get an error saying it isn't a valid win 32 program.
Any ideas? :?:

Which exe files? 32 bit or 64 bit?
ReactOS is still in alpha stage, meaning it is not feature-complete and is recommended only for evaluation and testing purposes.

You are definitely trying to run either 16 or 64 bit exe files. They won't run on reactos. Try to find some 32bit alternatives. Most 64bit apps are still offered as 32bit installers too.

I have one solution as programmer-Level.
After I compile my project inside Delphi5. This compilatorDelphi5 create the project.exe very well.
But after I execute the command "upx.exe project.exe" , I run project-upx.exe very good in WinXp32
Oopps.
Surprised! Inside Wine4 the "project-upx.exe" failed to start.
In ReactosLive0.4.13 the project-upx.exe start okai very good.
Conclusion.
Please,You execute the command upx.exe -d *.exe
You decompress any self-proetection-exe. You unprotect all *.exe
But all *.exe must be win 32 program.x86.
Best Regards..
