Steam and other game launchers

Post by Grungycal »

Hi
I was wondering how well the windows part of the OS works in the way of gaming cause I want to be able to run steam and origin till I can get windows for my machine but I'm not sure if they work cause some old posts from years ago suggested they didn't work very well.
Thanks for any responses

ReactOS is more likely to work better if your interest in games is more retro. 3d can still be difficult to get working properly and drivers for modern GPUs probably won't work. I know someone has gotten an older version of Steam to work, but I haven't heard anything about Origin.

As is almost always the case, the best advice is to try it for yourself.
